29 years as a portrait artist have yielded significant changes in technique and technology. But the greatest transformations in my life and photographic style have come from a deeper understanding of the significance of relationships, the uniqueness of personalities and the frailty of life. Ordinary assignments have become extraordinary memories, causing me to believe that there are no ordinary assignments. I approach each portrait session as if it has lasting significance. In fact it does. Every life, every relationship is extraordinary. Life matters. Relationships matter.

I have received most rewards that photographers strive for in a career, but my greatest rewards reside in the hearts of my clients as they honor their most valued relationships.
